Guided Tour in French

Next session tomorrow Tuesday!
  • Starts | 15:00
    Duration | 1 h 15 min.
  • Museo Cueva Pintada

On stage from 02 July to 30 May

The visit can be made in the company of specialized museum staff who complement the information visitors can see in the different rooms. This visitor-services team is fluent in several languages: Spanish, French, German and English.

Along a fully accessible route, visitors will find a variety of audiovisual resources that invite them to discover one of the most fascinating moments in the history of the Canary Islands. The rooms display a select collection of the archaeological materials recovered during the various excavation campaigns.

The settlement is made up of caves and stone houses. The Cueva Pintada (Painted Cave) stands out within this complex: an artificial chamber carved into the volcanic tuff. The geometric motifs decorating its walls are, without doubt, the finest and clearest example of indigenous mural painting on Gran Canaria.
